How do you create awareness about radiology among the general public? How do you encourage people to enter radiology as a profession? How do you demonstrate to the public advances in non-invasive medicine? These were questions the Radiological Society of North America put to R3 Productions* and challenged them to answer. R3's response was an attraction that exceeded all expectations. Fact was combined with metaphor to translate the high tech, specialized world of radiology to the theme park guest.
The 6000 sq. ft. exhibit at Walt Disney World's Innoventions utilized video presentations to provide a general overview of basic radiological procedures as well as custom interactive video games that encouraged visitors to further explore the science behind radiology.
