When Foot Locker set out to create an in-store experience that would appeal to its 13-25 year old clientele, they approached R3 about creating the ultimate urban playground. An entertainment retail concept that combined the two primary passions of the target market (music and clothing), the store concept incorporated the colors and textures of the urban environment as well as the sounds, lights and visuals of a music video performance. Original Foot Locker media content was programmed with current music videos, sports trivia, advertising and product information. The result was a dynamic retail experience and a software and hardware system that provided the customer with product information at the exact point when they were in a position to act on it - in the store!
